Henry S. Reuss Ice Age Visitor Center
The Wisconsin DNR's visitor center for the Northern Kettle Moraine, with an exhibit area, an auditorium and a gift shop covering the glacier that built the hills around Campbellsport. A back deck looks out over an outwash plain toward Dundee Mountain. From 8 September 2026 it is open Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and snowshoes are loaned free when there is snow on the ground.
Eisenbahn State Trail
A 25-mile rail trail on a former railroad corridor, running from Eden in the north through Campbellsport and Kewaskum down to West Bend. Twenty miles are crushed stone and five are asphalt. The trail is open year-round and no state trail pass is required.
Long Lake Recreation Area
Two of the state forest's three swimming beaches are on Long Lake. Marker buoys designate the swimming areas, and picnic tables, grills and toilets are available near the beaches; the south beach also has playground equipment suitable for young children and a reservable picnic shelter. Lifeguards are not provided. PaddleBreak Adventures runs a self-service canoe and kayak rental station at the boat launch.
Mauthe Lake Recreation Area
A Kettle Moraine State Forest recreation area with a campground of 135 sites, 51 of them electrical. There is a shower building with flush toilets in the 300 loop and vault toilets elsewhere in the campground, and food and drink concessions and kayak and canoe rentals run seasonally. The forest's third swimming beach is here, with playground equipment for young children and a reservable picnic shelter.
Armstrong Apples, Orchard & Winery
An apple orchard with a winery on the same site. It sells fresh fruit, cider, bakery items, jams, salsa, preserves, fudge and wine.
Fireman's Park and Columbus Parc
Two village parks that can be rented by calling Village Hall at 920-533-8321. Fireman's Park has pavilions on top of a hill, with parking there and in a lower lot, plus a ball diamond, bathrooms, a hamburger stand and playground equipment. Columbus Parc, on the east side of the village, has three ball diamonds, basketball courts, a sandy area that can be set up for volleyball, a playground and a concession-stand kitchen.

West Bend is the closest city, 16 miles south on US-45, roughly a 26-minute drive, with Kewaskum about halfway. source
Not in Campbellsport. The nearest system is Fond du Lac Area Transit, whose buses and shared-ride taxi serve only the City of Fond du Lac and the Village of North Fond du Lac, weekdays 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Campbellsport is outside that service area, so plan on having a car. source
